Help! My Book Title Has Already Been Used! | printable version

I thought my book title was really unique but I've just discovered another book with the same title. What can I do?

There are literally hundreds (if not thousands) of books with identical names on the market. You can't copyright a title. You can, however, trademark a title.

I would, however, advise against giving your book a title that is identical to one already on the market. You don't want to confuse your readers!
