Ask The Expert For September 10th
printable version

Hi Angela,

I enjoy and appreciate the helpful info you and Richard always provide and I look forward to reading WritersWeekly every Wednesday. My question is this: I occasionally get a booklet through the mail regarding a commercial writing course (name removed).

Do you know if this course is legit, or of anyone who has participated in this program? Any news of it, good, bad, or indifferent? I have tried to search the Web, but I don't come up with much--some pro, some con, but no substance to lead me to pursue it or to disregard it.

Thanks!
Jane D.

I haven't personally received any good or bad reviews of that particular program. However, I, personally, avoid products and services that make statements like "You can be a multi-millionaire!" in their marketing literature.

If it sounds too good to be true, well...you know.
