Can I re-publish/distribute articles I've been featured in? No. | printable version

At different points in my life, many articles were written about me. I have them all scanned and ready for inclusion in my new book. Is that allowed?

You can't photocopy/republish articles published by others unless you've obtained written permission from the individuals or companies that own the copyrights to those articles. The only exception would be if those articles were so old that they now appear in the public domain.

An easier (and legal) way to include those is to find the ones that appear online and publish only the article titles, names of the publications, and links to those articles in your book instead.
