Hints: 1. Writers often pitch very general stories. Everything must relate to Fairfield County or Connecticut in some way. 2. Many writers pitch the same old parenting stories over and over again. Our goal is to differentiate ourselves from the national publications and avoid repeating stories that people can read elsewhere. We need original ideas.
Photos/Art: We ask writers to try to take photos or have sources provide artwork. We do have photographers available if necessary. Payment included in article fee when writers provide photos. However, regarding professional photographers, we are always looking for people to help with covers and the calendar feature.
