We are a travel and leisure trade journal for Canadian physicians. Circ 38K. Monthly. Pays 30 days after publication. Period between acceptance and publication varies. Buys 1st rights. Accepts reprints. Responds within 6 months. Samples limited. Subscription controlled. Guidelines by mail with SASE/IRC or email.
Current Needs: US destinations, particularly medical conference cities (i.e. Atlanta, Boston, San Francisco, New Orleans, Washington DC., etc.). Submit query or complete ms by mail with SASE/IRC or by email.

Pay: Pays flat fee of $350 for editorials of 1500-2000 words.
Hints: We take articles only on spec for writers we have not worked with us before. Several of our issues are thematic or have special sections: April = all-Europe, May = Garden section, June = all-Canada, July = all-America, October = Weekend Getaways. Our focus is on practical, affordable, travel with a Canadian perspective. We also cover sports such as golf, skiing, kayaking/canoeing, hiking, biking, etc. No phone calls please.
Photos/Art: Prefer to have writers submit images with stories, but is not necessary. Pays $30/image.
