Too often, queries focus on issues of greater interest to the general consumer or parent. Writers should have experience in magazine feature writing and a basic knowledge base of food, nutrition and children. Submit detailed cover letter following contributor's guidelines with query, two feature writing clips and bio by email or mail with SASE is clips need to be returned.

Hints: Read a sample copy of the magazine and be sure to look at the editorial calendar (published on Web site) in order to try to target your queries.
