Current Needs: Our features are generally 2,000-2,500 words; I need writers who are willing to call sources within and outside our immediate industry; writers must be able to hit deadlines assigned (I always try to give at least one month between assignment and due date). Submit query stories and clips by fax, mail, or email.

Hints: Our audience consists of the salon owners and managers, not the customers. Remember the focus.
Photos/Art: Can take any type of artwork. Electronic art should be a .tiff, .jpg or .eps file , at least 300 dpi, and saved in CMYK if in color. Payment varies.
