Current Needs: Submit articles and photos with SASE or email us good stories about interesting long term overseas experiences, work abroad, volunteering overseas or other cultural enrichment. Check guidelines for more info. Articles run 600-800 and 2000 word max. Submit per guidelines.

Hints: Don't send us a journal about your trip. It's about the reader's trips. Make it practical, not available in every guidebook. Don't send us stories about tourist destinations, cruise ships, or the US. Make it about the people, and if you send us slides, put the captions on the slides with your name and address. Don't' call us, email or write. Read the magazine before you submit, PLEASE. Many of our stories are on the web site.
Photos/Art: Prefer slides or prints, with SASE, or emailed jpegs or BMPs of at least 300 dpi. Can send low res. to review, before and, if we like, we will request. Pays $10 per photo with story; $25 for stand-alone and $150 for cover.
