Pedaling Fast Just To Stay Ahead!
printable version

I'm staying ahead on all my work in anticipation of the baby's arrival. In fact, I'm writing this on Saturday. I usually put the issues together on Mondays. Last week, we learned our breech baby had done another flip and is now once again in the heads-down position. We're praying he stays that way! Also, I had two hours of false labor last Wednesday night. That was VERY exciting! You can read what's happening today with my huge belly by clicking here: http://vbac.angelahoy.com.

Richard called his mom last week and was discussing the baby and our last doctor appointment. She asked him if the baby needs anything. Since we've already purchased everything, from cloth diapers to burping rags to a new car seat and even a new cradle, he's pretty much all set. So, Richard replied, "Well, since the baby's eyesight isn't very good yet, he needs a big-screen TV."

This week's Maxisms:
This week, Max (age 4) turned to me in the bathroom and asked, "Mommy, are socks flushable?"

Also this week, Max asked me if we could buy him a tank online. I told him we were going to Target so we'd buy him one while we were there, if he's a good boy. He ran to me and threw his arms around me, saying over and over again, "Thank you, Mommy! Thank you SO MUCH!"

He then ran over to the window, looked at the driveway, and said, "Zach and Daddy need to move their cars so I'll have a place to park my tank."
