Fatigue = Blurry Vision

Well, the Amazon/BookSurge Threat stole my Sunday. I usually take Sundays off, to preserve my sanity but I was so behind because of the Amazon uproar and media firestorm that I worked until 4:00 a.m. Sunday morning, grabbed a few hours of sleep, and then worked all day and well into the night on Sunday, just getting caught up on my regular stuff, like answering emails, processing special orders, and formatting books. Unfortunately, it also took the majority of my hours for every other day in the past week, too. They’ve stolen time from the rest of my business, my personal life, and, most importantly, from our children.

The GOOD news is we are leaving this weekend, and heading south in our RV. In case you’re relatively new to WritersWeekly, whenever the traveling bug hits us, we pile the business and kids into the RV, and hit the road for several weeks at a time. We remain online, of course (we are able to run our business from any location where we have Internet access), blog about our adventures, and post pictures at WirelessTrips.com. During the upcoming trip, we’ll be heading to Virginia (to see my sister), meandering down the East Coast (we LOVE the ocean!), and going as far south as we can go, ending up in Key West. We’ll also see my older brother, who I haven’t seen in a few years (he’s also an author), meet up with Richard’s dad and step-mom in the Keys (they’re flying in from Texas to meet us), and have plans to meet up with a few Booklocker authors in person for the first time as well! We’re VERY excited about that! We will also try to see a rocket launch at Cape Canaveral (unless it gets bumped), and much, much more!

We’ll see ya next week from somewhere south of (and warmer than!) here! Check in at WirelessTrips.com on Monday if you want to virtually jump onboard and join our adventures!

This Week’s Maxism:

“I’m glad I’m not a bad guy.”

Hugs!

Angela
